Sandbar boys swim shorts come in printed, embroidered, and solid colour options across age sizes from 1-2 years through to 11-12 years. Every print available in men's is also available in matching boys' sizes for father-son coordination.

Construction is built for how boys actually wear swim shorts. Reinforced stitching at the high-wear points, secure elasticated waistbands with adjustable drawcords, and quick-drying recycled fabric that doesn't sit damp on the skin between dips. Most parents tell us their boys' Sandbar shorts last two to three summers before being outgrown, often handed down to younger siblings.

Will the kids' and adults' colours match exactly?
Yes. Kids' and adults' pieces are cut from the same print file and the same REPREVE recycled fabric, so colour and pattern are identical across sizes, not a close approximation.
How does family matching work at Sandbar?
Every print is designed across the full family from the first sketch, not adapted afterwards. That means a single print exists in men's, women's, boys', girls', and baby sizes at launch, so a father-son pair can extend to the whole family whenever you're ready, without waiting on a separate release.
What if my child outgrows their size before we replace the adult pieces?
Sandbar prints are part of an ongoing rotation, not a one-off drop, so most prints stay available in kids' sizes for multiple seasons. Check the product page for current size availability before you order.
Can I match my child's swimwear with the rest of the family?
Yes. Most prints are available across men's, women's, kids', and baby sizes. Check the product page for which sizes are available in the same print.
What is Sandbar swimwear made from?
Every piece is made from REPREVE, verified through REPREVE FibrePrint technology. Each pair of shorts is made from five to seven recycled plastic bottles. For every item sold, Sandbar funds the removal of one kilogram of ocean-bound plastic through our partnership with Seven Clean Seas.
